You don't have a heater control valve for this truck.......
The heater control valve is stuck open.
If the check engine light does not come on when your truck dies it's probably the idle air control valve
It should be at the base of the throttle body.
Assuming you're talking about a brake control valve, there is no wiring...
P1130 code which reads something like "Swirl Control Valve Solenoid Control"
what is valve of ford truck F150 1986
This code indicates an incorrect Evaporative System Purge Control Valve flow. Can be caused by clogged, disconnected, or broken vacuum line between the EVAP Canister Purge Valve and intake manifold or bad Purge Valve itself.
No it will not. It only controlls the idle of the engine.
You can adjust the idle air control valve on a 1992 1500 truck while it is just idling. This is done if the truck is idling too fast or too slow. It will help the truck run better.
the 84 uses an idle air control valve to control idle speed. this is a function done by the computer. if the idle is too low when cold but runs ok when hot, or ok when cold but then too high when hot, then chances are your idle air control valve is bad. if the idle is high all the time, you probably have your pcv valve vacuum line disconnected. if your brakes seem very hard to push as well, then it's probably your brake booster vacuum line. if neither of those, look for other vacuum hoses that may be disconnected. there is no user adjustable idle speed control for that car.
If your heater control is manual you probably have a cable that has become disconnected at the heater control valve or on the back of the panel. If you have an automatic temp control system you probably need a new temp control panel.
