Its to build up forward momentum so that when they jump they already have a forward motion that would be greater than that of a jump made from standing in one spot. You need forward momentum to get a good long jump and the best way is to have a running start.
No. A worn timing chain or belt would cause timing to jump.
It could maybe, if you happen to do it improperly, you would see sparks and the wire would heat up and maybe explode, but i don't think it will. :D
Why would a timing belt jump time and cause damage to the cylinder heads ?
no they can also jump directly up
A Pin
jump staraight then jump right the jump forward then right.
This would be Skyway Avenue by We The Kings :) excellent song.
The easiest jump you could do is a Waltz jump. That's simply stroking forward and then going on your left toepick, then kicking your free leg forward and puch off with your left. You should start going forward and then landing going backwards.
It can. Some new cars warn against jump starting another car. Others have special locations to put the jumper cables. I have seen people blow out fuses doing it wrong. Call a tow truck for the jump. They are trained, and if they cause a problem, you have some recourse.
you tell me then we will both know.
Vibration could cause it to jump as from a minor earthquake or washing machine.
