What type of transmission fluid goes in a 1993 Ford Mustang 5-speed manual and how do you change it?
most of these transmissions use one type or the other of automatic Transmission Fluid. I know its a stick but that's what they used. the transmission has two plugs in it one on the bottom for drain and one near the top for fill. you can take it to your local quick lube oil change place and they will do it for a small fee I find its worth it though it beat jacking up the car putting it on jack stands getting all dirty under the car then having to wash the dirt and oil out of my hair.
