4l60e
Trans should be a 4L60 E
If it does, look for trans lines going to radiator.
That would be the 4L60E trans.
It is inside the trans pan.
With engine running and trans warm add oil into trans dipstick tube
It is inside the transmission, Need to remove trans. pan. And look up by the valve-body
The manual transmission doesn't have a dipstick , there will be a fill plug on the transmission underneath the vehicle
I know that a 1994 ranger with a manual trans. uses automatic trans. fluid
If it's an auto-trans you'll need to pull the pan.
If an automatic transmission ,broken bands in the tranny.
According to my Haynes repair manual : For a 1994 Ford Explorer A4LD automatic transmission : ( MERCON automatic transmission fluid is used )
