The 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme takes 18" replacement windshield wiper blades on both sides front. Note, when buying wipers be sure to always lookup your vehicle make, model and year in the application guide book at the store, or now-a-days you can Google 'lookup wiper size'.
You want to look this up because correct wiper fit is more than correct length, it's also proper attachment. Not all attachments fit all arms. Using the application guide or looking up wiper size online will avoid headaches of buying the right lengths with the wrong attachments.
I have an '87 Cutlass Supreme Broughm and my rear-defog doesnt work either but my wipers are working. My power door locks, left signal light and power seat do not work either. My 4-way hazards do work though. I am hoping that someone can tell me which fuse this might be,

On the 94 and 95 you just pull it out. Be careful with the wiring connector.

Pull up the wipers so that they are standing diagnally up in the air and slide them off towards you. Its very simple.

When purchasing windshield wipers that work intermittently, they can be any windshield wipers that are the correct size. The ability to work intermittently is a wiring/fuse ordeal. This does not play a part in the selection of windshield wipers that you choose from.
