The 2004 Ford Explorer has a V6 engine.
The 2004 Ford Explorer has a 4.0 L base engine size.
On a 2004 Ford Explorer : Open the drivers door , and on the latch pillar you will see an information sticker . One of the things it shows is the original size of tires on the vehicle from the factory
For a 2004 Ford Explorer : ( 85.2 litres / 22.5 U.S. gallons )
Depends. All tires have a size on them, so the questions of the year of vehicle is irrelevant. If the size of the 1997 Explorer is the same size of the 1982 Chevy Van, then they are both interchangeable. The problems if any will be in the rims. But if the rims are different then the tires would be different too.
My ( 1995 ) Ford Explorer XLT came with ( and still has that size ) ( P235 / 75 / R15 all terrain tires )
On a 1996 Ford Explorer : Open the drivers door . On the end of the door is an information sticker . One of the things it shows is the original size of tires on the vehicle from the factory
Open the drivers door and on the end of the door should be an information sticker showing the original size tires from the factory
The 2002 Ford Explorer XLT came with P235/70R16 tires from the factory. Check the sticker on the end of the driver's door - it will indicate the tire size and recommended inflation pressure for your Explorer (Helpfull)
215/65/r17 :)
I believe the 2004 Ford Explorer 4 door is 22.5 U.S. gallons ( 85 liters )
On a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport : Open the drivers door and you will see an information sticker that shows the original size of tire on the vehicle from the factory ( the sticker is on the latch pillar )
