take the screw out of the side of the engine it is a medium size screw in the side
On any built in the last 10 or 15 years it is a setting inside the engine control computer.
It is not recommended by the manufacturer to remove the speed limiter on a Fiat Doblo. The speed limiter is installed for the safety of the vehicle operator.
take it to ford dealer/service for the ecu to be plugged in and the limit lifted via software. This will cost between £75-£100
155 mph before the Speed Limiter kicks in. If you disconnect the Speed Limiter, the top speed is approximately 167 mph.
120mph with the Governer limiter. without Governer limiter, 155mph.
You do not get rid of the speed limiter. It is in the engine control computer and you would have to have it reprogrammed.
With speed limiter ive had it up to 68 and that's stock how it came so my guess is with out a speed limiter around 80-90
The engine computer does act as a speed limiter.
