The Explorer was introduced in 1991. There is no 1989 model.
what kind of harly frame is this
AnswerIt is either a unitized body with the frame built into the car or it is a body on frame construction. A quick look under the car will tell you which it is.a 91-94 capri has what is called a unibody . go to google and type in unibody they will explain it. ford has used unibody construction since the 1964 mustang . most new cars use this kind of construction.
Sometimes they just get old, tired and worn out. Kind of like me.
What kind of a freakin question is that? go on www.autozone.com for christ's sake!
Unfortunately, no. The 1991 Taurus / Sable had a one-of-a-kind transmission. They are only intertchangable with the same year and car family. There are some early 1992 cars that have the same transmission as the 1991. A transmission shop could give you more information.
For a 1991 Ford Explorer , 4.0 litre V6 engine : ( 5W-30 ) * if you never drop below the freezing temperature then 10W-30 is fine
on my 1988 ford ranger (2.3L, 5sp), the fuel filter is behind the driver's front wheel on the inner side of the frame. it's kind of easy to find by following the fuel lines from the tank.
Motorcraft FL-1-A engine oil filter ( for the 300 straight six , 302 and 351 V8 )
I assume it would be ( 5W-30 ) like my 1991 5.0 liter V8 Ford Mustang had from the factory
