The winners of the Soviet Supreme League in 1979 were Spartak Moscow.
My friend had a 72 with a 350 4 bbl. and it was pretty quick for a plain Jane cutlass and it only had a single exhaust on it. My 1972 Olds Cutlass Supreme w/350 4 bbl, single exhaust was the fastest car on Indianapolis Blvd, in Hammond, IN in 1979. My friends made fun of my car because it was a four door. I didn't care. I never had to get out in the rain to let my little brother and sisters out of the back seat. Ha-Ha! I was proud to drive it. It was my first car and my dad helped me pick it out. Powder Blue color, and fast! I really don't know how fast it went. Once I got the speedometer hit the highest point. I was a little squirrelly for a 19 yr old girl! I've stuck with Oldsmobile's ever since. My 23 year old son drives my old 1999 Olds Regency. I'll try to keep that car up and running as long as I can! Love my Olds! Nothing compares! I wish Oldsmobile was still in the market. Can't they make a comeback?
