Look in manual. My 2005 takes 2.5 quarts-5 pints. When I drained mine, it had only 3 pints in it, and I was getting an acceleration whine between 40-50 mph. I used Mobil 1 75-90, 5 pints and no whine at all. Was a quart low, but absolutely no evidence of leaks anywhere including axle seals. Someone screwed up and did not add enough fluid. I used a Felpro gasket thinly coated both sides with Black RTV. Cleaned case and cover surfaces very well and tightened bolts just snug, probably about 25-30 ft./lbs.
