Oil temperature is an importaint factor in engine performance. Minimum oil temperature should be around 210 degrees F. Optimal oil temperature is 220 degrees while anything over 250 degrees is dangerous ground for petroleum-based oils. Synthetic oils can withstand higher temperatures in the 250 to 260 degree range for sustained periods of time.
The air temperature sensor on the 1984 Corvette is located under the hood. It is under the air control bracket at the front of the intake manifold.
The factory OEM thermostat is set to open at 195 degrees. The radiator fan is set to run at 225 degrees and only under 35mph. A normal temperature range is 185 to 225. Service should be performed if operating temperatures reach anything above 230 degrees for any extended length of time.
The 4.2 L 6-cylinder engine uses a 195* thermostat per the factory specifications. The thermostat begins to open at 195* and is fully opened by about 200*. 200-215* as shown by your dash board temperature gauge is considered normal operating temperature if your cooling system is in good condition and properly maintained.
yes it will
bypass anti theft system 1984 chevrolet corvette
That doesn't make sense cause that would be the 31st year of the car.(corvette) They came into production in 1953. They did not make a corvette in 1983 so 1984 would be a 30th year. I've never heard of a 1984 anniversary edition tho.
