1955 - 1959 1/2 ton stepside
2005 was the last year they made the stepside edition truck, I believe for Chevy and ford
A 1963 Chevrolet C10 Stepside Short Bed with the straight six cylinder engine could be worth in a low retail situation, $10,575. In an average retail situation, $19,800. In a high retail situation, $48,060. It's all about condition and factory options.

No, the Silverado is a Chevrolet truck.
If the truck is the one I am thinking of it was used in Chips (John's Pickup). If I am thinking of the right truck then it was a 1977 or 78 GMC Stepside. If not, I do know it was used in either Chips, Rockford Files, or Fall Guy. John's truck from Chips was a GMC Stepside and I think it was either a 77 or 78. Rocky's pickup from the Rockford Files was a 75 GMC Fleetside (Shortbox). And the Fall Guy Truck was a 1981 GMC Fleetside (shortbox). Hope this helps.
Bud's truck is a black on black 1979 Ford. Uncle Bob's truck is a tan Chevrolet stepside. Actually the Ford F250 that Bud drove in the movie is a 1977. It now belongs to a friend who lives in the Houston, TX area. The truck has been restored and is now lifted with 36" Mudders on it. The 460ci engine has had a bit of modification as well. This guy has about $50k in the truck over and above what he paid for it. Still in very nice condition for it's age.
