IAT= intake are temperature sensor ECT= engine coolant temp. sensor
Check coolant level
you dont reset it, its automatic, the lowest temp. is 60 degrees i believe.
Mounted At Oil Filter, Threaded/Screw In.
It will cause overheating and engine may seal
May be air in your cooling system. Unless you have a vacuum to put coolant in, it is very hard to get all the air out. It will cause your engine to heat up quickly and your temp gauge to be very erratic. If water is missing steam will cause that.

Check Coolant Level It Could Be Low. Also Sounds as If Your Thermostat Is Bad.
When your engine temp gauge goes to red on most cars that is 350 degrees f normal running temp should be between 100 and 210 degrees f high engine temps can cause horrible things to happen to your car truck or SUV ie. blown head gasket cracked head cracked block
there is no test for auto climate control, when you turn the ac on it comes on at a certain temp., you adjust the temp. as you see fit the display should already say auto temp.. if you want continuous temp. without it going off just push vent and then auto will go off your display, if im correct.
