I own a 66 with 2-barrel carb and got 12 mpg recently. There are too many factors to consider when estimating mpg, but most 60's cars with V-8s scored low teens in mixed driving and perhaps upper teens if you baby it on the freeway.
If you drive a car that old, you shouldn't worry about gas mileage because they were never designed to be efficient when gas was a quarter per gallon.
