The 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid Owners Manual states 1000 lbs.
However Ford towing guide does not recommend towing with Hybrid Escape.
I believe Ford states that the Hybrid is "capable" of Flat/Neutral tow, yet not recommended for towing.
