On a 2007 Ford Ranger :
Open the drivers door , and on the latch pillar is an information sticker
It will show the original size of tires on the vehicle from the factory
Stock Tire Size 215/75-15
look on the sticker on drives door it says it there
On a 1996 Ford Ranger : Open the drivers door and either on the end of the door or the latch pillar there will be an information sticker that shows the original size of tire on the vehicle from the factory
The correct size is listed in the owners manual and on the drivers door jam.
The same way as a rear wheel drive.
is it 4 wheel drive or 5 wheel drive?
The stock tire size on a Ranger 4X4 is 215/75R15. This information can be found on the drivers door along with the VIN, GVWR, and such. If someone has replaced the door with one off a 2 wheel drive, this information will be incorrect.
Tire rotation can be tricky, usually because tire rotation is dependent on tire and drive type. However, in all wheel drive vehicles, with non directional tires, it is pretty simple. The front passenger wheel is changed out with the back driver side wheel, the front driver side wheel changed out with the rear passenger wheel.
Get in the grass or gravel and floor it. If the front tire spins it's front wheel drive. If the rear tire spins it's rear wheel drive. If neither front or rear spins, take it out of park!!
That would be the rear passenger tire.
According to my Consumer Guide book : A 1999 Ford Ranger XL - 2 wheel drive - came with 205/75R14SL tires A 1999 Ford Ranger XL - 4X4 - came with 215/75R15SL all terrain white letter tires On the end of the driver's door there should be a sticker with the original wheel and tire size , along with recommended tire inflation pressure
Only if it is all wheel drive. The front wheel drive vans have the "donut" spare.Only if it is all wheel drive. The front wheel drive vans have the "donut" spare.
