∙ 16y agoThe heater core is a radiator in the car, warmed with coolant from the engine. When you put the Air-con on hot, and turn the fan on, the air is blown over it to warm the air (and you in the car) up.
As it contains radiator fluid, it can cause the level to drop if it leaks. Check the carpets in the car to see if they are wet with radiator fluid, or to see if the car leaves a puddle of fluid coming out of the air con condensation drain.

∙ 16y agoProbably any normal thing like not enough Radiator Fluid or something is wrong with your radiator or a head gasket leak could cause the radiator fluid loss. Does this Help?
If a lower radiator hose was replaced on a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan, but it is still leaking fluid, it could be that there is a hole in the radiator. It could also mean that there is damage to the overflow reservoir or its hoses.
Only if it is allowing Fluid to escape. Does the radiator and heater core have enough fluid to circulate. If not you will not have heat.
It could be your thermostat how is the fluid in your radiator?
Check the lines for the transmission fluid that run to and from the radiator. It could also be a bad gasket.
Remove plug or open petcock at the bottom or rear of the radiator or remove the lower radiator hose
The code p1762 in a Grand Cherokee shows possible transmission problems. Low transmission fluid could be the cause. Make sure that the fluid is full then check again.
if you have an automatic transmission there should be cooling lines going to the radiator to cool the transmission fluid the lines could be leaking or the tank could be leaking
Internal engine antifreeze leak what else could cause besides headgasket? there is no antifreeze in the oil it is clean
blown head gasket....not good. Could b Transmission fluid because the transmission cooler is in the radiator-especially IF the water has a red tint 2 it,IF it has a automatic transmission.
No. the transmission fluid has only little part of the radiator area. Low fluid could cause oveheating. A bad fan motor or sensors could cause oveheating. Find that problem now before you warp the heads and intake manifold and burn all the gaskets.
Unless your radiator has a leak, the radiator fluid stays in the radiator.
