I live in a suburban area. Use it like that. You can also say "I live in the suburbs."
suburban is the area tht surounds/ is near a city. urban means an actual city. and then like rural is country side
It should be just under the bottom of the dash were your knees would be when sitting in the driver seat. Look in that area.

I believe suburban / suburb area means the low density residence area, around high density city centers. Like the city center has high block buildings and further from the center there's a suburb with smaller houses.
