If this light is lit up it means that your traction control has been turned off. There may be a number of situations where this is normal, check your owners manual for details. Other times you will see this light in combination with the ABS light. They both use the braking system and if there is a problem with the anti-lock braking system they will both shut off.
Remove the the switches on both sides of the cluster by pulling straight out then remove the two screws between the cluster and the steering column. After those are removed pull the instrument cluster cover towards you(may be hard to get out so pull hard) then their will be 2 more screws to remove the cluster and on the back of the cluster are several twist clips that hold each bulb in the cluster. The bulbs are #194.
the sensor is in the gas tank. you probably need to replace the sensor.
I wish it did, my gas gage is broke also, you have to remove the instrument cluster to replace it

Engine overheating. Check the radiator for leaks in the hose pipe or radiator, otherwise the water pump is faulty and will need replacing
Is it ecotec or not? if not, the oil pressure switch is located 2 inches to the left of the oil filter on the back of the motor
The fuel gages, the battery gage, the oil pressure gage, and the coolant gage are on the upper instrument cluster?
Look behind the steering wheel
hook your trailer up and go... if you have a tow package you should see it on your gear selector if you do have it press the button in and a little picture should show up on your gage cluster of a little trailer
monitor and read oil pressure. sending that info to the gage cluster.
Get a new gage cluster panel.
