if its on the inside of the cylinder, its a blown headgasket that's leaking your water/antifreeze.
It could be a minor head gasket problem. If the leak is a small leak it would just hit the engine and evaporate. Can you smell anti freeze? Check your water pump, see if it's wet on the bottom. Most water pumps have weep holes, when coolant is leaking from these weep holes, it's an indicator of a failing water pump.
My basement has been leaking water due to local flooding. What are the top brands of pumps I should consider?
The anal leaking causes that.
Water fountains from leaking joints or holes in pipes happen due to the pressure within the pipe. When there is a leak, the water under pressure escapes through the opening, creating the fountain effect. The size of the leak and pressure inside the pipe determine the height and strength of the water fountain.
Either the heater core is leaking, the windshield is leaking, or there is a leak around the cowl. If the water tastes sweet it is a leaking heater core.
There many be minuscule holes in the floor or walls that are leaking water. If they are not visible, it may be because they are underneath or behind furniture.
That is the weep hole for the water pump. It means the seals are bad in the pump, and it has to be replaced. Most water pumps do have a weep hole on the pump itself. If it leaks from there it usually means that the water pump seal is going bad and soon you will need to replace the waterpump. At least that has been my experience. :-( Some water pumps do have holes either on top or bottom of it. If coolant starts coming out of the hole then it's time to replace the pump.
Overheating and leaking coolant is a sign of a bad water pump. There is a hole on the bottom of water pumps that allows coolant to leak when they are going out. This is to warn you it is going out so you replace it before major damage is done.
It may be the wastes that the plugs attach to which are leaking. Also look around the perimeter of the sink is it well siliconed and no holes? It can seep through there.
It could be leaking from the water pump. There is a small hole in the bottom of water pumps that will leak coolant when the bearing id going out. This is so you have an indication of failure before it comes apart and destroys other engine parts.
