first thing i would look at is fuel filter, probably half plugged, then it would be fuel pump. check it by putting a fuel pressure guage on the fuel rail and monitor pressure, hopefully your car has a fuel rail monitoring port.
Yes, it can. A fuel pressure test will verify if you had low fuel pressure. Be sure to replace the fuel filter to eliminate a clogged filter as the culprit.
low or no fuel pressure clogged injector no pulse signal coming from fuel compter
Partially clogged fuel filter or the pump is failing.
If the car is starving for fuel or air (low power at idle), the car will stall while turning.
Fuel Pressure
This may be a misfire caused by a low fuel pressure.
low fuel pressure on the fuel pressure check valve , which is located on the fuel rail that services all the injectors. the car will attempt to start but won't. pouring gasline in the throttle body will start the car but only momentarily..
Yes it does. The fuel pump is an electric motor that is lubricated and cooled by the fuel surrounding it. It is best to never let the fuel level get below 1/2 of a tank. Also the fuel filter should be changed once a year to prevent excessive pressure build up that causes the pump to overwork and fail prematurely.
Unlikely, Fuel and/or spark are likely culprits.
A vehicle with a failed fuel pump will not start. But fuel pumps can have intermediate degrees of failure which can result in intermittent failure or low fuel pressure.
No. Low tire pressure causes poor handling and poor tire wear.
