Low Octane fuel will cause pinging. It should not last for more than a few seconds then the Knock sensors should signal the PCM to retard timing. You should ensure that you use ONLY "top tier" Gasolines. If it continues to ping then you must use a higher Octane fuel. Please be aware that Top Tier and higher octane are two different concepts. If it still continues to ping (for more than a few seconds) then you must take it in and find out why the knock sensors are not working. The other noise that happens on cold starts is a diesel sound and should go away after the engine warms up. Early 2002 Models have a TSB that refers to this and sleeve failure. Spark plugs do not make a noise of any kind unless one or more is not fully tightened. Remove and replace all plugs and torque to proper specs. Are you referring to pinging or lifter clatter? If you are hearing the lifters clatter, then have the valves adjusted. If you are referring to pinging, then try a can of Seafoam Engine Tune in a full tank of fuel.
when the engine weres down
Knocking as opposed to pinging or ticking, usually means seriously worn bearings of some sort. Time for an overhaul.
Agressive tread, bad alignment
the steering wheel wont make the front wheels make noise as there is no generating source from the steering wheel. it will be the other way around.
Excessive wear, or lack of oil. Or both. Generally lack of oil is what causes the excessive wear.
it is time to change bearing on that pulley
