Either a lid or a cold air intake is the easiest mod for an LS1. Headers and exhaust are also fairly easy.
If your Vehicle of choice has a functional ram air hood, or scoop you may drill out the hood to flow air straight into the intake, after it passes through one filter. On my WS6 the ram air hood had rivets that held in air deflectors just drill out the rivets and you now have a straight through RAM AIR hood, like it should have been from the factory.
It should with lots modifications
Easy modifications of existing solutions
you dont have a ls1 you have a lt1. the ls1 was in 98-02 camaro
yes hoods are the same 2000-2004 ls1
If it is the LS1 why bother? If it is a V6 than you will have to mock up the motor mounts to the right place. You will also need a trans, driveshaft and modifications to the fuel system.
Belt diagram for a corvette ls1?
because its a ls1
The LS1 was not a 350... and what was your question again..?
LS1/LS1 BASED MOTORS
If they can cram a LS1 into a Miata I'm sure you could get one into a 6. I'm not saying it would be easy, considering a Miata is RWD, and I'm not sure it'd fit mounted transversely, but you could most likely pull it off.
the ls1 motor holds 5qts of oil
The LS1 V8 was first used in the 1997 Chevrolet Corvette.
