Chances are that your starter went out. Sometimes, the solenoid just gets stuck and you can have someone try to start the car while you bang on it with a hammer to get it unstuck. If this doesn't fix it though, you might be looking at changing out the starter. Don't try to keep cranking while you have this problem though, it could drain your battery life quickly.
Check battery, charge it or change it. Dead battery.
charge the battery, change the battery, use the back up start either a pull start or kick start.
I have an 02 sunfire and when i purchased car horn worked fine, but a week of rain soon fixed that. and now i get clicking noice aswell, on mine the hookups to the horn itself are loose, when i wiggle the harness and press my panic button the horn then works. tell i hit the next bump.

clicking
central airconditioner makes a clicking noise when running? any idea what to check?
yes gm makes all bell housings the same
The males gobbles and the female makes a clicking sound.
it makes that clicking noise because you touch yourself at night
Does the engine turn over and then make the clicking noise while trying to start, or does it not do anything but make the clicking noise when you turn the key. If its not turning over at all then it might be a battery problem, Try cleaning the battery terminals, and/or charge the battery, Could also be the starter solenoid, but start with the battery first.
the clicking sound is the blinker. when you signal to turn with your blinker the light flashes and makes a clicking sound.
It is low on freon.
