in 94 there was not a v6 engine produced for the f150, there is an inline 6 4.9 liter engine however.
Today, taking into account that the truck is 15 years old and probably has upwards of 200000 miles, i would be cautious towing much more than the occasional single axel trailer with the load weighing no more than about 1500 pounds. It could probably hual something as large as a tandom axel trailer with, say, a car on it. I do not know what the original rating is, i just know from experience with my similar pickup that they're best suited to be retired to the highschool driver's first truck hualing loads in the back instead of behind, they don't build them now like they used to, and they're great, reliable trucks, but take it easy on them if you want them to last. As far as a similar truck with a larger v8 engine, i would feel comfortable pulling that car hauler loaded often, but still taking it easy on it when i could
