There are numerous different signs of a bad fuel injector. The most common signs are reduced gas mileage, a rough idle, and an engine misfire.
There are very noticeable signs that a 1995 Prizm is experiencing a bad fuel pump. Some of the signs include hesitation in the vehicle, loss of power, stalling when driven, and difficulty starting the vehicle.

Hard starting, noisy pump, stalling, and finally an engine that will not start. Make sure the fuel filter is not clogged and the fuel pump relay and fuse are good.
Engine will not start, engine starts but dies,,,,,, You are driving on the road, You give the motor more fuel and it does not gain power to the same rate as extra fuel that is given
Hard starting, stalling, noisy pump, and finally total failure.
low gas mileage, engine miss-fireing,or engine not runing at right rpm.try a fuel cleaner it may help , but not a cure
I had a '99 cabrio that had a bad fuel pump. because the fuel pump is an electrical motor, and from my experience, if the pump is bad the engine won't start at all. I had gunk in my gas tank that seized up the motor quite easily. If you have problems with acceleration or maintaining high r.p.m.s, or if the engine sputters or has poor power, you might have a clogged fuel filter.
Hard to start, stalling, noisy fuel pump are signs.
