Not if the engine is original and has more than 100,000 km on it. In that case, just use a high viscosity 20W-50 standard oil. Synthetic oil is expensive and is of no benefit in an old engine. If the engine has had a full, quality re- biuld, then use synthetic oil, and you'll get a longer life from the engine.
