You will need to remove the rear door speaker covers. The Chevrolet blazer speaker covers are held in place with two retaining screws. Remove the speaker retaining screws. Remove the speaker wiring harness.
my Chevy blazer 2001 4 door has 6 speakers
i just recently put new door speakers in a 2000 Chevy blazer. They are 6 and 1/2 in all four doors.
If you still have the factory speakers installed, each door speaker is 6 1/2. Be careful removing the door panels though, they can be a pain in the arse! Hope this helps!
Should have access after removing inner door panel
There should be 4 door speakers in a blazer - all of them are 6 1/2" speakers. I do believe you need to pull off the door panels to replace the speakers, I have not done that to my truck yet.. Hope that helps you.
4x6 in dash 6.5 in door 6x9 in rear
The side door speakers are usually six inch, at least they are in my 95 blazer. If you buy one of those repair books based on a complete rebuild, it gives detailed instructions on how to take off door panels, replace speakers, etc.
5 1/4" I have the same year blazer and i just replaced all my speakers. At least it's 5 1/4" for the door speakers and i can't tell but there's places in the dash board for 4x6" speakers.
Dash = 4 in x 6 in Door = 6.5 in Rear = 6 in x 9 in
Are the door interchangeable on an 1987 chevy truck and an chevy blazer 1988
The 2003 Chevrolet Blazer dashboard speakers measure 3.5 inches in diameter. The front door speakers will measure four inches by five inches. The rear speakers will measure four inches by five inches.
