I am pretty sure it runs off of the same fluid as the fronts. There should be a clear plastic tube running down the passenger side of your car which carries it from the reservoir in the engine bay back to the rear wiper.

∙ 14y agoMy 2003 Sienna has one tank that is for the front and rear window. You might have a problem with your pump or something else. Does your front wiper work?

The rear window wiper fluid comes from the windshield wiper fluid tank in the engine compartment on a 2001 Ford Escape
This light indicates that the car is low on wiper fluid. To refill the wiper fluid resovuoir pop the hood and pour washer fluid in the clear tank. Note: not all cars have a wiper fluid warning light since not having any wiper fluid isn't a big deal.
Just a guess - a pump for the wiper fluid?

Take a peek at the washer bottle in the engine compartment.It should have two little pumps that set into it.This shows that both the windscreen, and rear wiper get their fluid from the bottle in the front.
$3 or so at any Toyota dealership. Ask for the wiper refill for a Matrix for the same year as your Vibe.
There is no rear fluid reservoir. The fluid is pumped from the reservoir under the hood that feeds the windshield washers.
The same reservoir as the front wiper fluid. If the rears is not working then it may be frozen or blocked.
The rear window wiper uses the same fluid reservoir as the front, it just has a separate rear window pump attached to the fluid bottle under the hood.
