If the outside temperature gauge is not reading the right temperature on a Buick Regal, perhaps it has become damaged. It can also not read the right temperature if it is wet or covered with dirt or snow.
GS stands for Grand Sport. Wrong, GS stands for Gran Sport.
Start with the area of the Regal's problem. For example, if a light does not work, check the fuses, then the switch, the wires, etc.. The same procedure applies to any section of the Regal.
If it is like my 95,,,the gauge cluster must be replaced,,no fixing it. I got mine out of NNY for $200,,they are rebuilts and they will set the milage to your car,,,,they are fairly easy to put in,,,, be careful with the gear indicater cable if you steach it the shifter will show wrong gear. It may only be a faulty wire / ground wire............Russellton
There is no reset button for the fuel gauge. Something is either wrong with the gauge or the sending unit in the tank.
Could be the fuel pump, or the lines themselves are clogged. I would trace the lines from the tank all the way up to the carb.
Is there a posibility that air is able to enter the fuel line between the tank and the pump stoping the pump from priming? it doesnt take much.
As a safety design, you do need to step on the brake pedal to shift out of park. If you are doing this and still can't shift, there may be something wrong in the transmission.
Probably your emergency brake pedal. Try lifting up on your e brake pedal and see if id goes out.
It wont start because the key has a pelet on it that has a code. When the computer reads the wrong code, it dosent let the starter move and dosent let fuel through the motor. :)Belmin
When mine stopped working, I had to have the sending unit replaced. Unfortunately, to get to it you have to drop the gas tank, as it is located inside the tank. If you have a mechanic do the work, or you attempt it yourself, be sure you get the proper replacement. I think there are a couple that will fit, but the wrong one will give you false or wrong readings at the dashboard gauge.
It may be simply that you were running with only one low beam instead of 2 and both are now burned out. If not, then the high beam switch or relay went bad.
I had a 94 buick regal that did tis. It was a 250 dollar repair job. It was the piece that spins the power accessory belt on the engine. I think its called a harmonic balancer
