I had the oil pan replaced on my 1999 e350 cube van with a 7.3 powerstroke diesel last year. The mechanic had to disconnect the transmission, and raise the engine enough to remove the oil pan.

i would try a can of ether pray all vacuum lines one a time. when it ides up then know where the leak is.
99 percent of the time it is the egr cooler. There was a recal on it look for the update verson of the cooler and have it replaced.. Tj
