I have a 1998 Ford grand Marquis- and the problem is the air suspension light stays on- how to fix this problem
how to replace starter on 2000 mercury grand marquis
check under the glove box
check the fuse
Check the ignition coil on the Marquis. Check the crank sensor as well. One of these is probably bad.
First check spark, if you have, then check the fuel pump for pressure.
If you are looking to replace your air suspension with a traditional coil spring setup, check out Mercury Grand Marquis and Ford Crown Victorias of the same vintage...both were based on the same chassis as the Lincoln Town Car.
Check the engine end of the upper radiator hose
check the bottom of the steering column
On a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis : Check the Vehicle Emission Control Information ( VECI ) decal in the front of the engine compartment , for the type of spark plug used and the spark plug gap
Have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
Vacuum check valves are usually located close to the vacuum source.
