If it is like the 1996 Ford Explorer :

On the Powertrain Control Module ( PCM )

Looking in the engine compartment , at the firewall , towards the passenger

side of the vehicle . You can see where the wiring harness is bolted to one

end of the PCM as it passes through the firewall . Most of the PCM is

" hidden " behind the glove compartment area .
