pull the fuse to it
Why do people give obvious but ridiculous answers when they really don't know? There is no fuse. Below the dash, driver side, next to the radio, is a black box about the size of a book. Remove the harnesses (you'll need a short flathead for the bottom one). Remove the one screw in the corner and slide it out. Open the box - 2 screws and some snaps. Carefully remove both circuit boards. The chime is the round thing about 1.5" in diameter on the bottom circuit board. using a soldering iron, remove the chime by heating the 2 pins while pulling on the chime. Put everything carefully back together in revers order. None of the other important electronic functions will be affected, if you did it all correctly.
There should be a SWITCH at the dome light! If not, remove the fuse from the fuse box above where your gas pedal is. OR: Simply remove the BULB from the dome light. duncanw.
