The center console lid latch may break causing the console lid to pop open frequently. Obtain a 1/4" spring to sit naturally in the latch. this has fixed my latch hook. The issue is the hing is too soft and, when bent, causes the latch alignment pointer to break off. The latch then won't hook properly. Fix has worked for 4 years so far...despite 3 sons.
There is a latch in the center console between the seats. Pull it, and it should open.

Toyota Previa fuse box is located underneath center console. It has a latch mechanism holding it in place at front of console but can be pried up with flat edge screw driver.
i removed the latch assembly from the console lid then gently removed the latch itself from the assembly, then with some wire and paper clips joined the pieces of the latch together. then i purchased some clear potting/encapsulating compound from the local electronics store, made up a rig from a coat hanger and immersed the broken end of the latch into the compound (time spent making the support rig is well spent). after the compound set with a little time and a hobby die grinder i carved the latch to almost its original shape reassembled it and it works fine... good luck...
The "sensor", correct? I believe it is front and center as you open the hood (i.e. Near the hood latch)
I had the same problem. Here's how I fixed it; you take off the cup holder assembly directly in front of the console lid by wedging a screwdriver on both sides and squeezing it with your other hand. This should unsnap it. Then the console lid and the cup holder should lift up together. Underneath you can see the latch where the console lid attaches to the cup holder assembly. I sprayed some WD-40 on the latch spring assembly and it pop free. Then you just snap back the cup holder which is now unlatched from the console lid. Thoroughly lubricate the latch spring assembly and it should work better.
If a Honda Odyssey has an alarm problem, simply pull the hood release latch and locate the hood latch lock in the center of the Honda, in front of the radiator. Locate the wiring harness next to the hood latch on the right side and pull up on the locking tab in the center of the harness and unplug it.
if it is loose under the console storage, it is probably the bracket under the storage bin. Remove the two screws holding the lid and the two screws by the latch hole and the two screws on the bottom to remove the inside of the storage area. Once you get it out you might see that the bracket that the screws on the bottom of the storage bin go into is broken. You can get a replacement bracket for about $80.00. You have to remove the console to replace.
