As long as the red " BRAKE " light in your dash is not on , you still have
" normal " brakes , so the answer would be ( YES )
A problem with the Antilock Brake System has been detected , it could be a
fuse , a sensor , or some other problem , so the antilock brake system feature
does not work
* in my case , the ABS warning light came on , and the first ABS fuse that I
checked was not installed all the way . I touched the fuse with my finger ,
heard a " click " , and the ABS light went out ( just lucky I guess , but also
suspicious of how that could have happened )
Problem with the ABS.
That depends on exactly why the light is on.
It is more question than the answer. I have ABS light on all time and turn off light on also all time (talking about ther ABS brake system on Chevy impala 2001 ls 3.8. I drive ok and brakes are ok. But light stays on makes me nervious all time. Someone said cut them to the hell! But I want to cut them off by right way: to understand why light on and how to stop the problem. Pads are new? everything ok and there isn't any wrong in brakes working. Others say something here is dirty I need to clean for contacts. Other also say a unit ABS computer ar center. No idea what reason ! Tell me please someone in order i can drive my car without being nerviuos on this reason all time thinking about that. Evern can't take a baby to the car she will say your brakes don't work we can't have the love on the hill tyou car can move from the hill itself to the river... Ha-ha-ha...
There is a malfunction in the ABS system. Check all fuses, if all ok you will need to have the system checked with as can tool. There is a malfunction in the ABS system. Check all fuses, if all ok you will need to have the system checked with as can tool.
Type your answer here... GO TO MENU, conveinece, oil life reset, hit ok when it reads set to 100 and hold ok!
If the CEL is not flashing-it's probably ok to drive. If the CEL is flahing - it's probably not ok.
If on steady OK to drive to repair shop If flashing shut off immediately and have towed to repair shop.
i had the same problem it turned out to be a faulty wheel speed sensor
First check your brake fluid level and then check all the ABS plug connector wires at each wheel hub assy. If these are ok you will need to get your ABS computer system scanned at a reputable service centre as only they can tell you which wheel bearing assembly has the faulty ABS sensor in it.
ok u will be a gold explorer now
It means that one or more of your tire pressures is low
Could be a tire low on air or a different size tire than the rest.
