Yes. It is a sports car...if you're a 16 year old girl. If you're not a 16 year old girl, it's an econo-box that gets good gas mileage that looks sporty. I'm sure it's sportier than a Ford Focus or Toyota Yaris though. You need to look at the Scion TC or the Acura RSX. You can get a 2-3 year old RSX for the price of a new Cobalt. If, however you want to know what a real sports car is, look at a Mustang. That's probably the cheapest REAL sports car on the market.
I disagree. A turbo charged SS will likely give a similarly priced mustang a run for its money. No a cobalt isn't a mustle car, as you'll always have just a 4 cyl, but depending on your tastes it can be a sporty car. It can also have some goos speed with little work (or an SS upgrade).
The Chevy Cobalt is the new official compact car in the Chevy family, replacing both the Cavalier and the Prizm. The Cobalt was replaced in 2010 by the new Chevy Cruze.

Ford doesn't make the Cobalt, Chevy does!
It is made of metal. It is a car.
The Chevy Cobalt was a great selling compact car in its class available both in sedan or coupe. The first Cobalt was publicly released in 2005. The Chevy Cobalt was produced until 2010 when it was replaced by the Chevy Cruze.

A 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS cost $7000 to $10500 depending on the mileage and general condition of the car. Vehix has many 2005 Chevy Cobalt SS listings available.
No, the Chevy Cobalt is not made out of real cobalt. The name "Cobalt" was chosen by Chevrolet as a reference to the element cobalt, known for its strength and durability, to convey the idea that the car is also strong and durable. The car itself is primarily made of steel, aluminum, and other common automotive materials.
The Chevy Cobalt Coupe will hold five passengers. The backseats of this car are not easily accessible but it does have a large trunk. The gas mileage of the Chevy Cobalt Coupe is a great selling point.
Five wheels would be the answer. Chevy Cobalt's drive on 4 wheels. Then there is usually one in the trunk for a spare. So unless the car has lost a wheel somewhere along the way, that is how many wheels a Chevy Cobalt has.
