The 1987 Camaro Z 28 350 cubic inch engine stock horsepower is 280. The 1987 Camaro Z 28 350 cubic inch engine was the largest engine offered for that model year.
It was just an incorporation of the "Z" in Z-28. IROC stood for International Race Of Champions.....from the Nascar IROC races.
First the Iroc is just an upgrade to the z28 package. Second open the glove box in the center console. You should see a white sticker with a bunch of three digit codes. If you find the code B4Z Then it's an Iroc. If not then it's just a z. Also they put more tpi 305's and 350's in the irocz's than the Z28 but they did put the tpi in plenty of Z's regardless. So that isn't really any indication. Check the vin number Then look up the letters and what they mean in the number All Z-28's are NOT IROC's. Run the vin, few z-28 had t.i.p. tuned port injection (305 moter only) and evein less iroc's with it (350 moter) so if u got tpi its most likely its just z28 but if u got 350 w tpi then its most likely an iroc
No street version like the mid 80's Camaros. IROC used Camaros from 1974-1989.
That car should get 28 to 30 miles per gallon HWY.
1967 Camaro Z-28
If it doesn't say on the title, take the VIN number to a GM dealer and they should be able to look it up. If it's not it wouldn't be the first fraud I've seen. I once met someone that swore they had a v6 Z-28 and couldn't find parts for it. They were NOT happy when I explained that what they really had was a plain v6 camaro with the Z-28 ground effects and spoiler bolted on.
Its probably a bad flywheel

This depends on year and what 305 and even in some cases what trans you have. 150 HP LG4 Carb 305. 190 HP L69 Carb 305. 215 HP LB9 TPI 305(1985) 190 HP LB9 TPI 305(1986-1987) 215-220 HP LB9 305(1988-1989) 215-230 HP LB9 305(1990-1992)-(91-92 were Z-28's not IROC's since GM Lost there contract with the Internation Race Of Campions which used the camaro's body design for their series from 84-89)
