Yes of course. All Chevy engines are interchangible with transmissions. For example, you can have a 305, 307, 327, 350, 400 with a turbo 350, turbo 400, or 700r4 big block are also the same

Turbo 300, Turbo 350, Turbo 400 and 700R4 are the first ones that came to mind.
yes
A turbo 350 has only 3 gears. The 700R4 has 3 gears plus over drive and lock-up converter. And it is the same as a 400 turbo with overdrive.
700r4 NEW ANSWER: That would be the 400 turbo
yes but the 350 turbo like the 400 turbo are vacuum run so you will need to tie into a vacuum line i put a turbo hydromatic 400 in my 1990 silverado that originally had a 700r4 it sucks not having overdrive but it will work also the output shaft is bigger so i needed a compatible transfer case in a 2wd this may not be a problem
yes a turbo 350 would work just perfect with that 400 and a 700r4 will also but if being used mainly for racing it probably want hold together long .rieco.87
I have a 350 turbo in mine Just about any transmission will work! Powerglide, Turbo 350 (lockup or non) or Turbo 400, even 700r4.
if its overdrive its a 700r4 if 3speed it should be a turbo 400 It came factory with a 4L80E Transmission
I'm not not sure what came in them from the factory but mine has a 700R4. they are decent transitions for a daily driver but if you want a solid trany try a turbo 400 or turbo 350
