∙ 12y agoI have an 1986 Silverado also and I am going to go the cheaper way by building a steel box frame, removing the carpet in the cab and getting that box frame welded to the floor of the cab (to avoid drilling holes). The center of the area under the bench seat is flat while the original mounting locations are raised. You would either need a $1,300 direct bolt in leather seat set with included console or you could make a box frame for $50 and get some good pre-owned leather seats for $200-$300 from *any* late model car or truck and weld their brackets to the steel frame. A challenge would be in finding a good console. I personally will actually have a car audio shop make me a console (since they make custom boxes and things like that all of the time, get it fiberglassed (or covered in marine vinyl), painted to match the truck and it would fill up the gap. Could even get a writing platform or speakers built into it if you were so inclined.

∙ 12y agoNo. Bench seats were actually more common than bucket seats were.
A bucket seat is a seat designed to hold exactly one person, as opposed to a bench seat which can hold two or more. In general, the driver and front passenger of a car are bucket seats, while the back row is a bench seat.
Yes! All you need are the seats I just changed from bench to bucket seats and still have the old ones. my main question is about aircraft seats monufectuered by Weber
yes you can. When I purchased mine from the original owner he had already replaced the middle bench seat with bucket seats.
Any vehicles that do not have 'bucket-style' seats are said to have 'bench' seats. That covers w-a-y- too many brands and makes to list here.
Chevy Silverado
two bucket seats in the front and a bench seat in the back so 3
Yes, but only when you learn to write a coherent question.
Bench seats have mostly been replaced with bucket seats, but a few vehicles are still available with the older and more traditional bench seat. Trucks and larger SUVs are usually found to have this option.

Silverado's are the more luxurious version. They have carpeted floors and leather seats. Cheyennes have vinyl interiors and bench / couch seats.
Two bucket fronts seats, and a bench style back seat that can fit three people.
