∙ 8y agoThe blower motor is on the passenger side of the car just under the hood on the firewall. It looks like an over sized soup can and has about six small screws holding it in. The screws and ect are metric on the car.
To remove it, disconnect the hot lead that goes to the blower motor and then remove the six or so screws and it will pull straight out. I'v replaced mine a couple of times over the years. It's easy.

Sorry the blower motor looks like a half height soup can and has a 1" or so ring around it. It's right next to the strut tower, on the fire wall, on the passenger side.

∙ 8y agowhere is the blower motor located in a 98 Buick century custom?
i have a 1998 buick century and my blower motor is under the passenger side front wall inside.I found out that the blower motor resister was the problem.if it works on high speed only, replace the resistor first.it's cheaper but harder to get at.
You may have to vmove them to get at it
I believe that it is under the dash on the pasenger side up towards the fan motor
The bearings on the blower are failing. You will need to replace the blower.
From what I have read online, it should be near the actual blower motor under the dash. They say it is easy to replace, but hard to get to. I plan on replacing mine as soon as I get paid.It is behind the blower motor...How_do_you_replace_the_resistor_on_the_blower_motor_of_a_2002_Buick_Century_The_fan_works_are_on_higher_speeds_only_Does_not_work_on_low_speeds
Should be some wires going into a bolted-in plug on the exterior of the ductwork on the firewall of the engine compartment near the blower. just unplug, unbolt and replace.
