At the top of the engine at the fire wall, there should be a cylindrical black piece of plastic with all the spark plugs wires attached, when you replace it it is also a good idea to replace the rotor underneath,
Answer:
Make sure you mark where the rotor is pointing if you take the rotor off. Make sure that you put the plug wires back the same way as they were removed. If you move the plug wires to different connections it will not run well or may not run at all. Make sure you mark the location of old distributor before you remove it and install the new one in the same location.
its inside the distributor.
Yes it will fit.
It does not have one. It has a Distributor that controlls that.
my ignition module for a 93 s10 was hld by two small bolts on top of the distributor. don't drop one of them into a storm drain they are not easy to buy.
The 95 S10 4.3L still uses the distributor.
it is under the distributor.
i am looking for a diagram of the firing order in a 1997 Chevy s10 blazer 4x4.
It still has a distributor.
The ignition module is located in the distributor, under the distributor cap.
The 1997 S10 Blazer has an egr (Exhaust Gas Reclaimer) valve. It also does not have a point distributor, it is electronic.
in the gas tank
Gonna need to know which engine you have in there.
