If yours is a convertible. its right underneth the motor; right next to the oil filter. Before you begin, take off the main ground wire at your battery, jack up the car and pull up the emergency break ! You need to remove the oil filter to make way for the starter to slide out. (while your there you might as well change the cars oil). There are 3 bolts that hold it in place; 2 at the bottom of the starter and 1 towards the top on the same side. To make it easier for you they are size 15mm for the 3 bolts. Before removing these bolts, take off the main power for it in the front attached to the solenoid. It is held down by a size 14mm screw. while your in this area reach in and remove the ignition plug that's connected; its a pinch and pull plug. After all the screws and plugs are off simply wiggle it right out. Remember how it came out as this is the same procedure to put it back. Hope this helps you out
(just a note... if you haven't purchased already; make sure its the right one. year make and model. My first remove and install was the same starter just rebuilt. They put in Chrysler sebring 2000 regular kit not the convertible one. It lasted 2 weeks and destroyed all the bushings inside. 1 of the bushings has electrical wire soldered on. I ended up getting an original starter from the junker. It worked flawlessly ever since).
