Standard for any vehicle 5,000 miles or every 3 months which ever comes first. Depends on where and how you drive the vehicle. If you do mostly in town or any off road driving, I would change it every 3,000 miles or 3 months. If you do mostly highway driving, then I would go with 5,000 miles or 6 months. It also depends on if you use Conventional or Synthetic oil. With Synthetic the interval can be extended. Your owners manual will list the correct intervals. The owners manual refers to the change oil light, it also states that if the light gets reset by accident the manual says "you must change your oil 3000 miles since your last oil change"
