It is important to know how much fluid a car needs to run smoothly. A 1999 Buick Park Ave will need between five and seven quarts of transmission fluid.
Where is the transmission fluid filler located on a 1999 buick park avenue 3800?
Dextron III or it's equivalent.
I have a Park Avenue. I think about 5 quarts to change fluid. Check the dip stick to make sure. You still don't get all of the fluid out of the torque converter when you take out the drain plug.
about two grand?!(:
Run the engine to operating temperature. Park the car on a level surface. Put the transmission in Park and then check the dipstick. If the level is only at the "Add" mark, add a pint of transmission fluid.
no
Depends on the engine the Park Avenue had in it.
Well... pull-out that rather long dipstick located in the back of the engine compartment, and add some transmission fluid. Make sure you check the fluid level with the engine at operating temperature, in park and on a level surface.
