Anywhere from $50.00 to $90.00. This is a rare case of you don't get what you pay for. The most expensive machines can be out of calibration and give you a bad alignment. The mechanic doing the alignment varies greatly. well maintained plates that the tires sit on are also a big factor. Getting a read out of your alignment doesn't mean that it is in tolerance. Those readouts can be altered.
I hate to say this but a majority of mechanic shops are scam shops. Yes even the major chains. I personally went to school for it and did alignments for years and the pressure from above was to get them in and out as quickly as possible but a good mechanic won't stand for it and do the job right the first time. I even had a few major car dealers bring there problem cars to me. I still have 2 cousins in the business but unless you know the mechanic personally try and find out what shops have a good reputation in that field.
