Well the Ford Freestar was build from 2004-2007 so technically there's no such thing as a 2003 Ford Freestar but to answer your question...
If you meant a 2004 Ford Freestar Kelly Blue Book values costs between $4,775 and $7,600 depending on its condition
On the other hand if you meant a 2003 Ford Windstar (built from 1995-2003) should cost you between $4,875 and $6,475 also depending on condition.
Now on a side note my family owns a 2004 Ford Freestar SE with the 3.9 L V6 and have been very unhappy with it. Within two months of purchasing the car saw the dealership 7 times in an attempt to fix a check engine light that would come on at random. The 7th time they actually fixed it . The interior panels are all cheap hard plastic and the seats are too hard. After only a year of ownership it developed a lot of shakes and rattles that we have not been able to fix. At 25,000 miles, 40,000 miles, and now at 85,000 miles all the brake pads and rotors required replacement. 4 months ago the car began misfiring like crazy. No one could figure out what was wrong. For the most part that went away but whenever the car accelerates between 40 and 50 mph it misfires again. Yesterday the car started stalling out randomly. We suspect it's the transmission failing. The hydraulic cylinders that keep the rear lift gate open have had to be replaced twice. The Tire pressure monitoring system often times will tell us that a tire is flat when all the tires are fine. On top of that when there is a flat tire the system will not let us know. Many of these problems have been found in many Freestars, not just to mine.
Now the Windstar might be a better option. We've owned a 1996 Windstar and loved it to death. It gave us 8 solid years of service and 150,000 miles before she succumbed to a head gasket failure. She never gave us trouble despite the abuse we put it through.
It is up to you to decide but I've given you my opinion.
