for a Chevy 350 enginge its 25 to 30 ft lbs. cast iron heads.
i checked with my brother who is a a.s.e. certified mechanic. it is 11 ft-lbs be sure to chase the threads with a tap and die set, and use locktite. to much torque will ruin the gasket, and not enough will cause a manifold leak.
torque for 2c engine cylinder head bolts
My 2002 Galant has not had spark plugs replaced for over 100k due to where they are. Three are underneath the intake manifold. Yes...intake has to be removed. Not difficult now that I know. Lots of bolts and hoses need to be removed to lift the manifold.
$0 recall
alot
To much nitrous injected into it .
Need to know if it is the intake manifold or an exhaust manifold and what is wrong with it.
You really don't have much room to remove the intake itself where it stands. I hate to say it but you might have to remove the engine to do it. I would get a new gasket first and look at it. They may be cut to just slip in so if you just loosened all the intake bolts, you could slide the old one out and the new one in. The next problem will be accurately retorquing the intake manifold.
