85000 miles ish
I have a 99 bravada, and have had no heat for over a year... until today. I was told by the dealership that I needed a new thermostat, so I had one put in last winter... that did nothing. Today, I had the heater core flushed, and Viola! I have so much heat I had to open my window, and I live in western NY! good luck! Just blow compressed air through the heater core
usually at least 200,000 if you take good care of the car.
Depending on the year Metros usually lasted between 180,000 miles and 250,000 miles. 1989 - 1997 metros usually go up to 180,000 before needing major repair. 1998 - 2001 were not as good and usually went up to 130,000 before needing work done. It all depends how the car was treated. They are good cars for the price.
The fuel pump relay is in the underhood fuse box.Fuse box is on drivers side fender well. The fuel pump relay on my 1997 Olds Bravada is located in the glove box top left side in the back behind a cover. There are 3 relays that are the same and the Fuel Pump relay is the left one of the 3. I replaced mine and that did not fix the problem though. I am going for the new ignition switch. I have power to the relay then I loose it. Good Luck.
start with replacing the switch first. check with your local junkyard first. they usually have these switches that are still good for cheap. a new motor is around 100 .
if taking good care of it could get around 250000 miles,i had an 1987 mistubishi mighty max pickup wit 259000 miles
It will usually tell you on the screen. But if it doesnt have a screen, and your stride is 3 feet, then you can count to 5280 and that will be three miles =) Good luck with that!
You should be able to find a shop manual at your local library with the right info...make copies as they are usually only in the REFERENCE section....good luck:)
My dad is a mechanic and we are dealing with this right now...could be that your heating and A/C control panel is broken. Be prepared, the part from the dealer costs $340 but I went nuts looking for one and finally found one at a salvage yard, got it for $65. Good luck!
There is a fee, something like $27.00 a yr. But well worth it. The site is www.alldatadiy.com Good Luck
No, Not a good thing to do. They will be out of balance.
