∙ 15y agothere are three oil galley plugs behind the timing chain, and three freeze plugs on each side of the block on the outside. One water drain on each side of the block on the outside. and three oil galley plugs on the back of the block, under the bellhousing/flywheel. and one oil galley crossover under the intake in the lifter valley.
freeze plugs are located along both sides of engine block and also on the rear of block behind the flywheel. freeze plugs are also located in the heads
Yes there is 2 in the back of the block, The big plug in the middle is a cam plugDO NOT BOTHER IT AT ALL
between the tranny and engine block good luck
There are numerous freeze plugs. There are some in the cylinder heads. There are some on the side of the engine block and on the rear of the engine behind the flywheel. You will need to pressure test the cooling system to find the leak.
There is 2 freeze plugs between the rear of the engine and the transmission. The freeze plugs are in the back of the engine block. Do not bother the big plug that is in the center of the block, That is the cam plug NOT A FREEZE PLUG. YOu will either have to pull the transmission are the engine to replace those 2 plugs.
yes there are freeze plugs behind the flywheel at rear of block
flywheel side, center of block.
You either have to remove the transmission from engine or vice-versa. The engine block has freeze plugs in rear that rust out through time,( lack of antifreeze makes them rust out faster) try replaceing them with brass freeze plugs, there much better then metal. You will have to remove pressure plate, clutch, & flywheel to access freeze plugs.
On sides of engine block.
which freeze plug you want there are several. along both sides of block,at rear of block behind flywheel and also in both heads
A freeze plug is located in the side of an engine block that is supposed to protect the block against freeze damage.
